Launch facilities: The public launch ramp and pier are located next to the Boat School at 42 N Water Street -- 3/10's of a mile north-northwest of the Port Hadlock marina. The ramp is concrete, though usually covered with sand at that time of year, and is useable at all tide levels. Ample free parking for cars and boat trailers is available. Ramp use is free as is the pier.
Activities: The four shops at the Boat School will be open for tours, as will the blacksmith and welding shops.
Meals: An informal BBQ will be hosted by the School for students, staff and TSCA members and guests.
The Ajax Restaurant (across the street) will be open that afternoon for beer and wine and there are a variety of other good restaurants in the Port Hadlock and Chimacum area within a few minutes of the School, as well as several nearby coffee stands.
August is one of the best months to visit the Olympic Peninsula come on over and join us. The Boat School Rendezvous will happen rain or shine!
Accommodations: If needed, participants are responsible for arranging their own overnight accomodations.
