Marrowstone Island / Mystery Bay
Mystery Bay State Park is 1/4 mile past Nordlund, WA
on Marrowstone Island heading toward Fort Flagler.
To get to Marrowstone from Kingston, take the Hood Canal Bridge on State
Route 104 heading toward Port Angeles.
Take the Port Townsend turnoff about five miles past the bridge.
Turn right in Chimacum. Turn right again in Port Hadlock on SR 116 and
follow the signs to Indian Island,
turning left onto Flagler Road, crossing the bridge.
Pass the naval station and continue on to Marrowstone Island.
There is a fill between the two islands on the south end and the road is on top
of the fill.
Or, you can take the more scenic route and turn right at the first road
after the Hood Canal Bridge
and follow the water through Port Ludlow, past Mats Mats Bay and Oak Bay,
turning right on Flagler Road before getting to Port Hadlock.
