Pine Island Clean Up

Sea Scouts and Ledyard Community Boating Assist with Pine Island Clean Up

The Sea Scouts of Ship Dragon (Groton, CT) and several members of Ledyard Community Boating worked with JGTSCA members to help clean up Pine Island during our annual Earth Day activity.

Working on 12 foot skiff

Building a 12-foot Lapstrake Planked Skiff

JGTSCA member John Hacunda is working on his first project, a 12' flat bottom, lapstrake planked skiff. The design is from the book Traditional Boatbuilding Made Easy published by WoodenBoat.
