Restoration of a Herreshoff New York 50' Class Sloop

JGTSCA members visited the McClave, Philbrick & Giblin boatyard recently in Mystic, CT to view progress on the restoration of SPARTAN, a New York 50 Class sloop.

Working on 12 foot skiff

Building a 12-foot Lapstrake Planked Skiff

JGTSCA member John Hacunda is working on his first project, a 12' flat bottom, lapstrake planked skiff. The design is from the book Traditional Boatbuilding Made Easy published by WoodenBoat.
