In June, a baker's dozen of our Chapter traveled north for the annual John Gardner Small Craft Weekend at Mystic Seaport. Among them was Tom Shephard, right, elected as National President of the TSCA, and Mike Wick, bottom left of page, Secretary.

It was a proverbial "Ducker weekend:" Ned Asplundh's traditional, cedar-lap boat, above left and center right, splashed water for the first time since traveling to France for the Brest 2000 gathering. His 55 sq ft sprit was a bit logy in the light airs. Above right and left center, Pete Peters' ply-lap THOMAS EAKINS hung out 110 sq ft on a gaff rig to take advantage of the light breezes.

Sunday morning's activity was highlighted by a row to Mason's Island for coffee and doughnuts, right.
