Lost Coast Members refinish the Pamela G in preparation for the Sacramento Chapter's San Francisco Bay Row, March 2010

Lost Coast members got pretty excited about the idea of joining Sacramento TSCA Chapter for its San Francisco Bay Row, scheduled for the end of March, 2010.

Chapter members Bill and Gwen Jacobson are always willing to lend a hand and participate in any chapter activity.

It was decided that the Jacobsons and the Elufsons would row the chapter's own Pamela G, and the Swallows and Halvorsens would row Selby Drew's New York Whitehall, the KISGA (the letters being the first letters of the names of his grandchildren)

Interior and exterior were carefully varnished. The Jacobsons are seen on the left, diligently working on the interior. On the right, Sam, Stan, Bill and Dusty pitch in.

.

The workers take pride in the nice coat of varnish they gave this beautiful boat, and they are now ready to take it down to the Bay Area. Unfortunately, the pictures don't do this craft justice; maybe some day we can replace these with better ones.
