Lost TSCA joins Liquid Fushion for Coastal Cleanup Day, September 15, 2012

The 28th annual Coastal Cleanup Day – the state’s largest volunteer event – took place on Saturday September 15th. Cate Hawthorne and Jeff Lexier of Liquid Fushion Kayaking and the Lost Coast TSCA rallied their teams to collect debris from Fort Bragg – Noyo Harbor and River, again this year.

Lost Coast TSCA’s ability to haul the large debris using two mighty rowing boats towing their three scows to the collection point at Dolphin Isle, is always appreciated by the kayakers.

.

Our Noyo Harbor crew picked up 900 pounds of debris from the jetty beaches and river to do our part for Fort Bragg and Noyo River. Thanks to Linda and Dusty Dillion, WORLDS END ROWING CLUB, for providing the TSCA members the dock and crane facilities for launching at events.
