The Lost Coast Chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association   Lost Coast Members Participate in Coast Clean-Up Day, September 25, 2010

Lost Coast members joined others to participate in "Coast Clean-Up Day" on the Noyo from just past Dolphin Isle out to the jetty. Boats are put in the water at the Lost Coast Rowing Club. A garbage scow, the Lillian was brought across the river.

A considerable amount of trash and refuse was picked up off the rocky shore under the bridge. Trash picked up in and at the edge of the river from the jetty to the Coast Guard Station was brought in by rowboat. Spirits were high.

The Lillian was piled high, and proud workers secured the load, so it could be towed up-river. There, the trash was unloaded into a dumpster and the Lillian towed home. Everyone had so much fun, we'll have to make this a yearly event!
