Welcome to the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association. We are affiliated with the Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez located on the sunny shores of SW Florida on Sarasota Bay just west of Bradenton.

Our members are interested in boatbuilding, messabouts, rowing, paddling sailing, techniques, equipment, and maritime history.

Visit our Great Florida Gulf Coast Small Craft Festival in April.

Boat building projects are underway every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM at the Cortez Community Center.  Drop by to chat or LEND A HAND.

From Bradenton, FL, travel west on Cortez Road (S.R. 684).
Turn left on 123rd St. Ct. W.
Community Center is on the east side of the street.
