CRBB – The Crystal River Boat Bash

The Crystal River Boat Bash, will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22 at the Kings Bay Park in Crystal River FL. This Bash will be a celebration of small craft, nautical heritage, and fun on the waters of the Nature Coast. Conditions in May are ideal in the area – temperatures, humidity, and winds are perfect for enjoying time on the water.

From around the country, owners of small sailing, rowing and paddling craft - classic and traditional and modern - will be offered the hospitality of Crystal River. They'll be in Cedar Key FL to our north a few weeks before the Crystal River Bash for the world famous Cedar Key messabout.

Crystal River Boat Bash activities on Saturday includes a display of small craft hand-made by the members of the Crystal River Boat Builders, demonstrations of various boat-building skills, and hands-on opportunities for families and kids to learn what boat building is all about.

Participants in the BASH are encouraged to bring their own craft into the park on Saturday for the enjoyment of our visitors and for the chance for all boat owners to meet and gab. There will be many small craft on display on land and in the water.

On Saturday the City of Crystal River and radio station Citrus 95.3 will sponsor raft, kayak and paddleboard races in Kings Bay. All during the day there will be food vendors and entertainment.

On Sunday, the bay belongs to the BASH! Launch facilities surround the bay, so we expect to see a lot of boats on the water. There are many restaurants on the bay with docking available – a lunch rendezvous or even a pub crawl are possible!
